DELICIOUS operates this free concept experiment. You can read every idea without accepting optional measurement. We do not collect payment information, names, photos or email addresses through WANT. If you contact support, we store your message and optional reply email separately for up to 90 days; only administrators can read them.

Remembering your WANT

When you register, we set a signed, HttpOnly functional cookie for up to 90 days. It identifies this browser so repeated clicks do not add votes. We store the idea, registration time and active/withdrawn status. Different devices and cleared cookies cannot be reliably deduplicated.

Optional measurement

If you allow it, we record unique idea visits, stable A/B headline assignment, a coarse campaign channel, share-button use, eligible referrals and anonymous sample viewing, creation, save and share actions. Sample names and photos stay in your browser memory and are never uploaded or saved by DELICIOUS. A share action is not proof of a completed social post. Referral attribution lasts seven days. Declining still lets you WANT an idea.

Changing your choice to decline removes your optional visit, sample-action and share records and removes measurement/referral attribution tied to this browser. Functional WANT records remain until you withdraw or delete them.

Google Analytics

Only after your permission, Google Analytics measures page views, coarse campaign sources and fixed experiment actions. Google processes technical device and connection information. We disable advertising signals and automatic form measurement. Names, photos, messages and referral codes are not sent to Google. Analytics cookies expire after 90 days; user-level event retention is two months. Declining stops future collection and clears our Analytics cookies. Retention and service providers

Anonymous records expire after 90 days of inactivity. Vercel hosts the website and API; Neon stores data in Singapore. These providers may process technical connection data according to their policies. Our application does not persist raw IP addresses; daily-keyed hashes are used for short-lived rate limits. We do not use advertising cookies or sell your data. Administrators can see anonymous registration IDs, not your identity.

Deleted records may remain in provider-managed backups until those backups expire. They are not used for live counts. If a restoration is needed, deletion requests must be reapplied before collecting data.

Your choices apply to this browser.

Deleting removes your WANTs, referral links and measurement records from the live database. It cannot identify records created in other browsers. Contact us for questions.
